AREAS OF FOCUS
-
The drilling joint venture structure is unique as it allows operators to accelerate development and improve single well economics with reduced capital outlay. In Sequel’s typical joint venture, operators capture the majority of project PV-10 while exposing significantly less capital, yielding higher single well returns. The structure enables operators to retain project control and future upside without burdening the balance sheet. Sequel will also consider joint ventures on acreage and production purchases.
